IHN Supports Mary Stevens Hospice
Published on the 17th June 2014

IHN sponsored the Gold Cup Race @ Ascot! Mary Stevens Hospice held a fund raising event at West One in Hagley on Thursday 19th June. All of the races from Ladies Day at the 'real' Ascot were shown live with an in-house bookmaker taking bets.

2 members of IHN staff, along with many other guests, attended the glittering afternoon which proved to be an exciting, stylish and unique event, and included: a sparkling reception and canapĂ©s on arrival, a Royal Race Day lunch, afternoon tea, all races shown live, Gold Cup Raffle and entertainment.  The big race of the day being the IHN Gold Cup Race at 3.45pm.

Guests were also given the opportunity to 'own a horse' for the day although only a few were lucky winners.

Everyone was extremely well looked after by Hospice staff as well as staff from West One, so a big thank you to all of them for making the day so succesful and enjoyable.

All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Hospice and will enable them to continue to support patients and their families through very difficult periods in their lives and to ensure that they receive the very best palliative care possible.
